The truth we sometimes miss out on

Often in our day to day lives we tend to miss out on Christ’s simple commandment to obey. I don’t know about you, but I miss out sometimes. So much of the Bible is encompassed within this one word – commandments.

It’s been sometime since The Lord taught me this. But now I feel the Holy Spirit reinforcing this again. I’m not proud to accept that I missed but I’m glad for His correction.

“Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” – John 14:23-24

In 1 John 2:4 it says, “He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

Words displayed in action is the real life of a believer I believe.

I don’t want to be that person who only talks about how much I love the Lord but I want it to been seen through my life. I want His love to flow through me. So I guess it’s good to receive correction, right?

  1. I believe feeling pricked by the spirit and receiving correction means we are sensitive enough to His call. Not only that, but we see in the book of Romans God corrects us because we are His children. He corrects those He loves. ❤
