Youth of Honour

Often in are youth we do things according to this world and not according to the Word of God. This is what we call “compromise”!

Compromise is something we do even when we know it is wrong and goes against God but still go ahead and do it to please man.

It is an act of accepting wrong decision, values, trends and rejecting God’s word, His promises, commandments and love.

In the book of 1Timothy chapter 4 verse12 the apostle Paul prophetically says that in the last days many people will lead the youth towards destruction. In that phase God Almighty wants us, as young people to be an example for the world to bring the lost into His kingdom. But the sad truth is often we ourselves fall and grieve the spirit of God.

A YOUNG BELIEVER:-

Imagine that you are surrounded by cameras on all sides. Where ever you go you are being watched and recorded. One wrong action by you and it will be caught. So is the life of a believer. Wherever you go and whatever you do, the world is looking at you to be an example for them to believe in CHRIST. But when we knowingly compromise with God’s standards by doing wrong things of this world, we become a stumbling block for them.

1 Corinthians: 8:9- But take care that this liberty of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.

Remember that we being a believer must never become the reason for the weak to fall deeper in their weakness and sins.

We are not called to be stumbling blocks for the world but to be examples as God’s children in this world to lead others to the CROSS of JESUS.

Romans 8:12- “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

1 John 2:9- “ Those who say they live in God should live their lives like JESUS did.”

We have two choices now:

  1. To compromise with the WORLD

“You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgement.” – Ecclesiastes 11:9

2. Follow the WORD

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12

We are not perfect that is why we need JESUS!

Our precious Lord says, we cannot do anything without Him. We need the HOLY SPIRIT to help us and guide us. Whoever is reading this, my brother or sister, in these end days God is calling you to be an example for this world. He is ready to help you but for that you must make a decision to not compromise with this world and to stand with the WORD and be the LIGHT!

GOD BLESS YOU. ❤

P.S. This topic underlines the purpose of this blog. To help and encourage young people to be examples for others in this deteriorating world.
